In this very challenging time, Scout Books is prioritizing the health and wellness of our staff and community by limiting all production to a minimum. As a small manufacturer, most of our team simply cannot work from home so we have made the difficult decision to temporarily layoff the majority of our staff both for their own health, and so they can access unemployment benefits as quickly as possible.
In 18 years of running a business, we’ve never seen anything like this. We’re doing our very best to move forward in the most thoughtful way possible. Now is the time to think about the health of our greater community to ensure a safe and healthy future for all of us. Please stay home if you can!
During this temporary slowdown, we as the founders, and a couple, will be working to manage new and existing orders and sustaining day-t0-day operations.
Please keep in mind that we would still love to help you with your Scout Books, and will work to meet your needs as best as possible under the circumstances.
We are determined to get through this period of uncertainty, and when the time is right, restoring to full capacity.
