Dribbble is an online community of designers from many fields. It’s a digital show and tell where illustrators and designers can upload and share their work. Says their website: “Dribbble is a place to show and tell, promote, discover, and explore design.” It was founded by Dan Cederholm and Rich Thornett, and is headquartered in Salem, Massachusetts. While it’s based in the Northeast, their reach is much broader – the online platform builds community offline through meet-ups, which are independently organized and take place all over the world.
The platform also helps connects designers and design teams with those looking to hire creatives. It provides a database that is searchable by location and skill set. In addition, their job board has listings for design and development positions around the world.
The folks at Dribbble use custom Scout Books as a promotional tool, and recently took things to the next level with a new design featuring gold foil. Their sleek design features black ink and black staples in addition to the pop of foil. These sharp notebooks are for sale in their shop, and are prizes for global Dribbble meet-ups.
