Overview

Scout Books is searching for an Offset Press Operator to assist in the manufacturing of books and notebooks of the highest quality. Our fast-paced press team requires excellent time management, a strong work ethic, and meticulous attention to detail. The position requires a flexible schedule in order to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Offset Press Operating and Maintenance
  • Plate Imaging
  • Consumables Management/Inventory
  • Tracking

Education and Work Experience

  • Previous production environment experience is required
  • Previous machine operation experience is required
  • Previous print/bindery industry experience is helpful but we will train the right person
  • Previous imposition and foil experience are helpful
  • Previous fulfillment, shipping, and inventory experience are helpful
  • BA or equivalent life experience

Compensation / Benefits

$16-19 per hour, depending on experience
