Working Not Working is a curated community of creatives for-hire. As their website states, they are “connecting companies with the world’s most creative creatives.” Their community is made up of illustrators, digital and interactive designers, photographers and other creatives, and their services are utilized by such companies as Airbnb, Google, Wieden & Kennedy and Apple.
They worked with us to create custom Scout Books which functions as both a notebook and a catalog of member work. Their mega-sized notebook features full-color interior pages which set colorful member work beside dot grid notebook pages. The cover and inside cover feature designs printed in black ink, and the book is stitched with sleek black staples. The Working Not Working team describes their notebooks as “interactive business cards” which they carry with them. Based in New York, with secondary offices in San Francisco, Working Not Working has members around the globe and works to connect these members with companies needing their creative services.
Working Not Working hosts events to help members away from the computer and foster connections between them. They also create weekly profiles of their super talented members and post them on their blog, Free Range.
