WordCamps are independent, community-organized conferences for WordPress users and developers. They are hosted nearly every week in cities around the world, and provide a space for the community to share ideas and get to know each other. As of the date of this post, there are 711 WordCamps in 68 cities, 65 countries, and six continents! Many WordCamp organizers utilize custom Scout Books for giveaways at their events, like this one from WordCamp Lancaster in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They provide an analog tool in a digital space, and are easy to customize with the chapter or sponsor’s branding.
For the Lancaster event, the organizers designed this custom Mega, which features their logo printed in black on the cover. Inside are blank pages for attendees to jot down notes. We love that WordPress creates a free and open source platform for individuals, companies (like us!), and organizations. We’re always excited to support the WordCamp community with more tools to build better websites.
